Opening an Account with Unicash Mercantile

Thank you for your interest in opening an account with Unicash Mercantile.

Our clients, ranging from individuals to corporations in diversified sectors, need certain account opening documentation in order to enjoy the benefits Unicash Mercantile has to offer.

If you’re trading on your behalf as an individual, we will require your original identification documents, which could include a driver’s licence, passport or other government acceptable document. You’ll also be required to complete a Personal Application Form.

If you’re opening an account on behalf of a Corporation, the Corporation should complete a Corporate Application Form, as well as provide the following:

  • Articles of Incorporation, with name, registered address, and directors’ names and addresses.
  • By-Laws or Resolutions of the Board of Directors giving evidence of the beneficial ownership of the Corporation, with name, address, and percentage of ownership of each shareholder.
  • Original identification documents of directors, shareholders, officers, and authorized representatives.
  • Documentation confirming the Corporation’s current existence and address. A copy of a recent phone or utility bill or updated Certificate of Corporate Status.

In order to introduce ourselves, a Unicash representative will be glad to visit your Corporation to expedite the process of opening an account.
